On 12 November, the Cit\u00e9 des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne in Beaune will be hosting a unique auction organised by the Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne (BIVB). More than 600 panels of Burgundy village and grand cru appellations, which have left their mark on the Burgundy winegrowing landscape, will be put up for sale. This is a unique opportunity for wine and heritage lovers to acquire an emblematic piece of Burgundy at a lower price.<\/p>\n
Recently replaced by new signs, these old indicators, carefully preserved by the interprofession, will now have a second life. The BIVB has come up with the original idea of putting them up for auction, giving wine and decoration enthusiasts the chance to own a piece of the prestigious vineyard. Auctioneers J\u00e9r\u00f4me Duvillard and Alexandra Chaillou-Weidmann will orchestrate the sale, which will also be broadcast live on the drouot.com and interencheres.com platforms.<\/p>\n
The 300 lots on offer at this sale comprise panels emblematic of the Burgundy appellations, ranging from the prestigious Grands Crus to the Villages and Regional appellations. Among the lots available are 29 Grands Crus panels, 280 regional or village appellation panels, as well as 280 \"Bourgognes\" panels and 280 round panels bearing the \"B\" logo for Burgundy wines.<\/p>\n
Enthusiasts will be able to buy panels from iconic regions such as the Grand Auxerrois, C\u00f4te de Beaune, C\u00f4te de Nuits and C\u00f4te Chalonnaise. These decorative elements will look great in any home, garden or workplace, adding a unique and authentic touch to your space.<\/p>\n
