Julie
The daughter of a winegrower, Julie spent her early years exploring the vineyards of Champagne. Her other playgrounds were the wine presses, the vat room and the cellar. Later, she discovered wine, and that's when she knew. She wanted to become an oenologist. She stuck to her resolution and, after studying at university in Reims, she graduated in July 2024. She broadened her horizons by taking a short detour to Alsace, where she obtained a degree in wine trade and logistics. She completed her internships at major Champagne houses.
She enjoys tasting new wines and meeting those who produce and consume them. As part of the team at 1862 Wines and Spirits, Julie will be happy to tell you about our fine wines and share her knowledge with you.
